October 2025 Book Retreat
Once upon a time…
We return to the iconic and beautiful Maple and Rose on October 24th in Merrickville, Ontario for a beautiful weekend dedicated to our common passion for books and the unique stories that come out of it. For three days and two nights, we will share book recommendations, get into passionate debates about our favorite books, gather for meals, cheer to new releases, relax, create and finally take time to go through that TBR. The added bonus?! - getting to enjoy all the spooky, witchy, Gilmore Girls vibes of Merrickville just before Halloween!
This fully inclusive retreat has 11 spots available. There are three options for the accommodation: Shared rooms (either with another participant you know, otherwise you will be paired with someone who booked the same option), Single rooms with queen beds and one 2 bedroom Suite. Preference of room type will be given on a first come first serve basis.
The event starts at 4PM on Friday, October 24th and we shall say our goodbyes Sunday, October 26th around 3PM.
- All packages includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, a variety of drinks (including non-alcoholic and alcoholic options), snacks, reading material, and activities for the duration of the weekend. It is basically a bookish ALL INCLUSIVE resort.
- We have designed this retreat to be a safe place for all and are at your disposal if you have any questions, concerns or, wish to share any other important information. We want to make this stay as comfortable for you as possible.

Please note, once we receive your registration an invoice will be sent to your email to complete the deposit. Your spot will be saved but not considered confirmed until all the pieces above have been received.
